Marina Fernandes is a current graduate of the Art institute of Vancouver’s Fashion Marketing program and a lover of all things fashion. After spending 2 years of hard work and determination in Vancouver and acting as the Executive Director for a successfully executed student-lead fashion show, Marina moved back home to Edmonton to discover exactly what good ol’ YEG had to offer. When she’s not spending her days obsessing over all things Andy Warhol and Alexander McQueen, she’s working as the Divisional Manager for the Twik Department at the Quebec-based store La Maison Simons. With her sights first set at producing fashion shows, Marina’s focus has now redirected to a successful career within the fashion magazine business. Using her ability to balance business with creativity she hopes to help raise fashion awareness within the Edmonton community.
